Food chain [2025]

Caught a whiff of your scent

I'm barely stifling the thrill

of how you respond to my call

I need the control

But your stare from my snare

is stirring my hunger

I have to warn you before

you end like all others

ref.

Flood of your feelings

spill like blood on the ground

In the flurry of motion

is the peace that I've found

In the pounding of your heart

In the ache of your bones

is the release from my chains

Satiation at last

I leave you with nothing empty husk, hollow tomb

You took the risk and I take you for fool

Burnt out and scorched I can't look at you

Don't call me cruel

I shrug off the stench, the shudder of disgust

I'm done I move onto next prey

Another loop in the chain

ref.

Flood of your feelings

spill like blood on the ground

In the flurry of motion

is the peace that I've found

In the pounding of your heart

In the ache of your bones

is the release from my chains

Satiation at last
